Dačiūnai, 1927 Justinas Vienožinskis is known as an artist who left a vivid print in the development of the Lithuanian artistic life. His remarkable energy and resolution made him to overstep strict borders of artistic activities and to become an active organizer of artistic life, a mindful educator and an art critic of great professional expertise. All these qualifications suit well to describe this restless personality of J. Vienožinskis . In the exhibition organized on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of the artist's birth one will be able to see more than 100 of works of art, paintings and drawings from the Lithuanian Art Museum, National M. K. Čiurlionis Art Museum, Vytautas the Great War Museum, Lithuanian National Museum, assets of the Institute of Lithuanian Literature and Folklore, artist’s son Vincas Vienožinskis, relatives Talis Vienožinskis, Kęstutis Vienožinskis, collector Rolandas Valiūnas and Kaunas Branch of the Bank of Lithuania. The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania included this exhibition into the national J. Vienožinskis’ anniversary of birth celebration programme.
