Dear Colleagues,
It is great honour and also pleasure to invite you to take part in the 9th Baltic States Triennial Restorers’ Meeting to be held in Vilnius – a traditional event for restorers, specialists on museums, archives and libraries, art historians and scientists.
The aim of the Triennial Restorers’ Meeting is to exchange ideas and develop a new vision for the future of conservation science and practice, discuss case studies, address problems of preventive conservation and those of training conservators.
Three working days of the Triennial (10-12 May) are intended for plenary reports and the presentation of poster reports. English is the working language of the conference.
In the afternoon of 11 May all the participants are invited to visit conservation centres of the museums, libraries and archives in Vilnius. The last day – 13 May – is reserved for excursions.
The meeting is organized by Pranas Gudynas Restoration Centre of Lithuanian Art Museum.
The steering committee hopes that the 9th Baltic States Triennial Restorers’ Meeting in Vilnius will be a memorable cooperation for all its participants.
